Auction FAQs

What is “proxy bidding”?

Proxy bidding places bids on your behalf at the lowest possible increments. Simply enter a maximum bid amount (the highest you are willing to pay) and the system will automatically bid for you until it is exceeded.

What is “popcorn bidding”?

If a bid is placed in the final (2) minutes of an auction, the end time will automatically extend for an additional (2) minutes (up to 10 times). This is used to prevent “bid sniping” and gives all bidders an equal chance of winning an auction.

What condition are the items in?

AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Items may either be damaged, used or incomplete. Some occasions the item may even be brand new. Full details will be in the individual item description.

Can I view the item in person?

Viewing is not available at this time.

How will I know if I won the auction?

You will receive an email indicating that you've won with a link attached to complete the purchase. If for some reason you do not receive an email, you can always log in to view your account. Simply select "view your bids" on the My Account page and tab over to "Winning Auctions". There you will find a summary of all the auctions you won or didn't win.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover. Because payments are all done online, we do not accept cash in person.

Do you offer shipping?

No. All items are local pick up only.

How do I collect my winnings?

Check in at the Will Call door. An NPS employee will be tasked with collecting your items for you.

What if I don’t want everything in the lot, can I only take certain items?

No. All items must be taken.

I am no longer interested in the item, can I cancel my bid?

No unfortunately. Once a bid has been submitted, you are in a binding contract agreement to purchase the item unless you are outbid.

My item didn’t work, can I return in?

No. All sales are final. No returns/refunds.

What if I can’t pick up an item at the scheduled pick up time?

If an item is not collected by the allotted time, it will be deemed forfeit. The buyer’s account will be immediately suspended for failing to honor the terms of the auction agreement.
